Serena Castells is a writer, artist, and student in the Cleveland area.  She had the first inkling of comics inspiration at the age of 14, and started actively developing Hatrack Comics in fall of ‘07, goaded by close friend and fellow artist Frank, whose comics are also on the way to fruition.  Other inspirational figures are all the wonderful webcomic creators whose work is linked to on the right.

In addition to comicking, Serena is an impassioned writer, poet, and aspiring environmental scientist.  She also enjoys lemonade, white chocolate, and singing loudly in the car while driving through the woods.  She could probably start a religion if she wanted to, but would rather just make goofy drawings.
